SCOTTISH BORDERS CAMPUS - Decant of Network Equipment from Borders College Main Campus to HW High Mill

Information Services is moving the Galashiels Borders Campus Network, from the main campus buildings of Borders College to the High Mill Building on the 10th and 11th of Aug 2026. It should also be noted that Wednesday 12th should be considered "at risk", network devices may have to be rebooted if any issues are discovered.

ALL network access, both wired and wireless, will be down during this scheduled window

Access to Eduroam will still be available in the Borders College Main Buildings.

Staff are requested to make alternative arrangements ie "working from home".

The High Mill will remain open for any "non IT " related work.

Any questions regarding this migration should be raised as a ticket in the Helpdesk.
